Come on board as we build a CRM and update our applications so we can better serve the modern, demanding donor, and our charity partners who are facing new fundraising challenges. You will be helping CanadaHelps modernize by building tools that help donors and charities make a difference. We are adding features such as fundraising tools, donor management systems (CRM), event management, and integrations with various applications. We have so many things to do you will never be bored.


As a .NET, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, testing, documenting and maintaining web and applications in a team environment. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, and able to read, understand and debug legacy code. You will be expected to adhere to business specifications while using the latest standards, practices, tools, and guidelines for .NET and React/Redux front-end application development. You should be comfortable building new components, and maintaining/upgrading old code.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience building web applications in C#/.NET
  • Good Object Oriented fundamentals
  • Good knowledge of C#, ASP.NET/Core web development 
  • Excellent skills in SQL Server
  • Excellent skills in JavaScript
  • Experience in DOM, HTML5, CSS, LESS, SASS, Bootstrap, Foundation, Webpack
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must


Nice to Have Skills and Experience:

  • Ecommerce experience
  • REST API development experience
  • Building single-page applications using React/Redux
  • Linux experience (Ubuntu preferably)
  • Git and Github experience
  • Experience with agile team development and tools like Jira
  • Experience with mobile web development
  • Experience with continuous integration using Bamboo or Jenkins
  • Experience with Elastic search, Redis
